What's the role?

International Business Development at Hilti is a leadership role within the global Hilti / Oglaend community. As a business developer, you will focus on a portfolio of Global Accounts (EPCs or Owners) important for the Hilti Group. You will own and implement tailored customer strategies and lead their execution to increase adoption of our solutions. Additionally, you will coordinate a worldwide team associated with these accounts.

What does the role involve?
  • Accountable for the development of global accounts (Owners, EPCs) in the Energy sector through account standardization, project specification, sales development (direct or indirect), and multi-level relationship management to increase Hilti/Oglaend share of wallet.
  • Responsible for developing the strategy of assigned accounts and leading its global implementation through Hilti & Oglaend counterparts.
  • Ownership of the global project pipeline and proactive build-up of Hilti/Oglaend capture teams to focus on aligned projects.
  • Providing market intelligence inputs to global teams to refine corporate segment strategies.
  • Responsibility at the international level, including regular travel mainly within Europe.
  • Maintaining effective communication within the team and company, acting as the owner of assigned accounts.
  • Achieving standards and specifications on assigned accounts by driving system adoption throughout all project phases.
  • Developing and driving account strategies to maximize solution penetration and partnership levels.
  • Supporting project capture teams as needed.

  • 8+ years of proven success in offshore / Oil & Gas industry.
  • Ability to define and implement long-term business strategies.
  • Strategic mindset with innovative problem-solving skills.
  • Engineering background (Civil and/or Mechanical) with strong commercial or business capabilities.
  • Experience managing large customer accounts and penetrating various organizational levels.
  • Confidence and experience in facilitating face-to-face sessions with diverse audiences.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills in a fast-paced, stakeholder-rich environment.
