About the role

As a Storekeeper at Lam Soon Edible Oils Sdn Bhd, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient management and organisation of our warehouse facility in Butterworth, Penang. This full-time position is responsible for overseeing stock levels, handling incoming and outgoing goods, and maintaining accurate records to support the company's manufacturing and distribution operations.

What you'll be doing

Receiving, inspecting, and storing incoming goods in an organised and efficient manner

Picking, packing, and dispatching outgoing orders to meet customer requirements

Maintaining accurate inventory records and performing regular stock checks

Coordinating with the production and logistics teams to ensure timely availability of materials

Assisting in the implementation of warehouse management procedures and systems

Ensuring the warehouse environment is clean, safe, and well-maintained

Providing support to the wider operations team as required

What we're looking for

At least 2 years of experience in a similar warehousing or storekeeping role, preferably within the manufacturing, transport, or logistics industry

Strong organisational and time management skills with an eye for detail

Proficient in using warehouse management systems and inventory tracking software

Good communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with various departments

Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Familiarity with occupational health and safety regulations in a warehouse environment
