As a Store Manager at Tesla, you are a seasoned and charismatic retail leader responsible for overseeing and driving sales and delivery operations at your location. In this role, you will manage the overall store operations, sales execution, recruitment, training, and development of a dynamic store team. Your team will look to you to set standards for open communication, active problem solving, and a positive work environment.

We expect you to be fully committed to your team's success, actively involved in their growth and development. You are a hands-on coach with strong business acumen, constantly seeking performance improvement and a good understanding of numbers and KPIs.

Responsibilities

  • Drive business and maximize sales through excellent customer service, product knowledge, merchandise presentation, and promotion.
  • Implement operational policies and procedures to meet customer needs and help Tesla achieve its goals.
  • Lead the recruitment, interviewing, and training of staff to meet company standards.
  • Plan, implement, and follow up on store operational tasks and projects, including outbound events and sales networking activities.
  • Control store expenses including staffing, supplies, and services.
  • Ensure proper merchandise display and inventory management.
  • Promote workflow efficiency improvements and share best practices with peers and management.
  • Represent Tesla professionally both internally and externally.
  • Manage a productive team of Owner Advisors and Product Specialists, maintaining high sales performance and customer satisfaction ratings.
  • Acquire comprehensive knowledge of company products and pass internal tests.
  • Perform other duties as assigned based on business needs.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of retail, industry, and key account sales experience with a proven track record, including 3+ years in team management.
  • Strong business development and negotiation skills.
  • Logical thinker with a good sense of sales data and analysis.
  • Self-starter with excellent time management and attention to detail.
  • Appreciation for Tesla’s startup culture and mentality.
  • Ability to work under pressure, manage teams, and meet sales targets in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional self-management and self-learning skills.
  • Ability to prioritize, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all organizational levels.
  • Passionate, ethical, and dedicated to sales management and operations.
  • Team-oriented, capable of building collaborative relationships.
  • Strong knowledge of retail store operations and systems.
  • Fluent in English and the local language.
