Job description

Our client a Leading Sportswear Company is looking for a dynamic and experienced Store Manager to lead the operations of their large-format store. You’ll be responsible for driving sales, building and mentoring a high-performing team, and ensuring seamless day-to-day operations aligned with brand standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership & Team Management

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of more than 15 staffs.
  • Create a culture of performance, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Conduct regular team briefings, performance reviews, and training sessions.

Store Operations

  • Oversee all store activities including sales, merchandising, inventory control, and customer service.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, health & safety regulations, and visual merchandising standards.
  • Manage stock levels, order merchandise, and coordinate with the supply chain team.

Sales & Customer Experience

  • Set and achieve sales targets, KPIs, and profitability goals.
  • Ensure an exceptional customer experience through high service standards.
  • Analyze store performance metrics and take action to optimize results.

Financial & Administrative

  • Prepare and manage store budgets, expenses, and payroll.
  • Ensure cash handling and banking procedures are followed accurately.
  • Generate reports on sales trends, staffing, and customer feedback.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5+ years of retail management experience, preferably in sportswear, fashion, or lifestyle brands.
  • Proven experience managing large-format stores with high customer footfall.
  • Strong background in team leadership, sales strategy, and store operations.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
  • Proficiency in retail software (POS, inventory management systems).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certificate/ Diploma/ Degree in Business, Retail Management, or a related field.
  • Passion for sports, fitness, and active lifestyle.
