Overview

Working location: JB Aeon Tebrau, Southkey, Paradigm, Sutera Mall, JPO, Batu Pahat, Kluang.

Candidates will be trained in headquarters as a management trainee. After the physical training is completed, a period of work and learning in the stores will enable candidates to become familiar with store operations and business skills. Upon completion of the practical Internship Programme, successful candidates will work as deputy managers in the store, with potential nomination as store managers based on outstanding performance. Both roles are responsible for store and sales management.

Store managers who perform well may be promoted to professional store managers, responsible for setting up new stores, training store staff and managing positions. After the smooth functioning of day-to-day operations, the new opened store will be handed over to the store manager and the next new store will be set up.

After establishing a certain number of stores, candidates with outstanding performance may be promoted to area managers, responsible for the operation and sales performance of several stores. Area managers with outstanding performance can be promoted to regional area managers, overseeing several regions.

Responsibilities

Manage store operations and sales performance at assigned levels. Progress through roles from deputy manager to store manager, professional store manager, area manager, and regional area manager as performance permits. Lead the setup of new stores and train store staff. Ensure smooth day-to-day operations and hand over completed stores to the store manager before proceeding to the next project.

Requirements
  • Candidate must possess at least a diploma or degree.
  • Working experience in the apparel retailing field will be preferred.
  • A good knowledge of English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin, and proficiency in speaking and writing.
  • Strong sense of responsibility, good presentation, communication skills, and willingness for long-term travel to different places.
  • Candidate working experience with Uniqlo, Padini, Zara, H&M, Cotton On or other retail brand experience is an added advantage.
