We are seeking a Stewarding Team Leader to oversee stewarding operations, ensuring cleanliness, hygiene, and sanitation standards are met. Reporting to the Chief Steward or Assistant Chief Steward, you will supervise the stewarding team during shifts.

What will I be doing?
  • Maintain high customer service standards with guests and team members.
  • Lead and guide stewards in their daily tasks.
  • Ensure availability of cleaning supplies and equipment in accordance with sanitation standards.
  • Implement and monitor cleaning schedules and inventories.
  • Maintain proper handling and storage of kitchen equipment and utensils.
  • Assign tasks and oversee team performance.
  • Update operating manuals, chemical charts, and cleaning procedures.
  • Manage requisitions for chemicals and equipment.
  • Conduct monthly inventory of operating equipment.
  • Report and monitor breakages and losses.
  • Maintain cleanliness of storerooms, kitchen, corridors, and stewarding areas.
  • Operate and maintain cleaning machinery such as dishwashers and polishing machines.
  • Assist in ensuring sanitation standards are upheld across all kitchen and service areas.
  • Prepare for service by completing FSMS checklists and reviewing reservations.
  • Support other departments like waitstaff, bar staff, and kitchen team as needed.
  • Perform duties safely and according to Hilton policies.
  • Perform any additional duties assigned by management.
What are we looking for?
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a 5-star hotel environment.
  • At least 2 years as a Steward in an international hotel brand.
  • Valid health certificate.
  • Knowledge of restaurant and outlet operating hours.
  • Ability to train, motivate, and lead team members.
  • Ability to prioritize and complete tasks efficiently.
  • Willingness to work in moist, hot, and loud environments.
