Steel Construction Engineer (Junior Executive)

About the role

We are seeking a motivated and talented Steel Construction Engineer (Junior Executive) to join our team at N & N MATERIAL ENGINEERING (M) SDN. BHD. in Pekan Nanas Johor. This full-time position will play a crucial role in our Civil/Structural Engineering operations, contributing to the design, planning, and implementation of steel construction projects.

What you'll be doing

• Assist in the design and development of steel structures, including bridges, buildings, and other infrastructure
• Conduct structural analyses to ensure the safety and integrity of steel constructions
• Collaborate with project teams to develop and implement construction plans
• Monitor and oversee the fabrication and installation of steel components
• Identify and resolve technical issues during the construction process
• Ensure compliance with relevant building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards
• Provide technical support and guidance to construction crews
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of our steel construction processes

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or a related field
• 1-3 years of experience in steel construction or structural engineering
• Strong understanding of steel design principles, construction methods, and project management
• Proficient in the use of engineering software, such as CAD, finite element analysis, and project management tools
• Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities
• Commitment to safety and quality standards
