Job summary

Baker Hughes in Malaysia is seeking a Senior Statutory Analyst to act as the focal point for external auditors, plan audits, perform field work, and prepare audit reports in line with IFRS and local statutory standards.

You will liaise with internal stakeholders, review statutory filings, and ensure timely, accurate compliance across entities. Strong English plus Spanish or Portuguese is desired; ACCA/CIMA qualification preferred.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in statutory audit
• Qualified accountant (ACCA/CIMA)
• Preferred Big 4 or external audit experience

Baker Hughes is seeking a Senior Statutory Analyst Our global statutory Audit team collaborates with internal stakeholders across our business to deliver assurance and advisory services. We continuously monitor and evaluate risks and promote a culture of best practices and continuous improvement. Our team provides insights and guidance to Executive Management and our organization to help make key decisions. Partner with the best As a Senior Statutory Analyst, you will be the focal point for external auditors in Baker Hughes. Assisting in planning audits, executing audit field work, and preparing audit reports. Applying of IFRS standards and local statutory standards. Managing relation with external/internal auditors ensuring compliance with local statutory/US GAAP requirements Collaborating with cross functional team to review Statutory & Management financial statements and coordination of audit request Ensuring all legal entity and branch statutory filings are completed in a timely, accurate and appropriate manner.

To be successful in this role you will:

• Able to communicate in fluently English and Spanish or Portugese
• Preferred experience with Big 4 and/or external audit experience.
• Have at least 4+ Years of experience in Statutory Audit
• Be highly initiative and self-driven, with strong analytical and conceptual skills.
• Be a qualified accountant (ACCA / CIMA)
