We are currently seeking a Static Equipment Engineer to join our team based in Kuala Lumpur.
Successful candidates would be offered a fixed-term employment contract.

About the mission we offer you:
- Perform engineering detailed design on current onshore/offshore projects to meet departmental needs and support engineering operations within the company.
- Main Accountabilities
- Design basis, codes & standards: Understand and apply design codes such as API, ISO, ASME, and interpret requirements to meet project specifications; resolve problems based on codes & standards interpretation; understand code limitations and apply them accurately.
- Client specifications: Review and clarify ambiguous client documents, ensuring contractual requirements are met.
- Knowledge of static equipment: Understand static equipment like pressure vessels, heat exchangers, tanks, etc., used in oil & gas industries, and evaluate vendor options.
- Review vendor data and participate in vendor FAT/testing, providing comments and resolving issues during testing.
- Respond to site technical queries regarding equipment design and installation.
- Material selection: Understand material types for various services, review vendor proposals, and provide feedback based on process requirements.
- Working deliverables: Prepare technical data sheets, specifications, material requisitions, evaluation reports, etc., efficiently and timely.
- Vendor Data Review: Ensure vendor data meets standards, regulations, and project requirements; coordinate with other disciplines to resolve interface issues.
- Fabrication knowledge: Understand fabrication processes and influence delivery schedules.
- Others: Maintain professional judgment, produce quality deliverables, and adhere to QA/HSE standards.

About you:
To succeed, you should possess a Degree in Mechanical Engineering (B.E. Hons) and at least 4 years of experience in static equipment design for onshore/offshore projects, preferably with experience in Green Hydrogen, Electrolyzer, and Carbon Capture Storage Projects.
Additional Information
- Willing to travel and be stationed at various locations as needed.
- Site or fabrication experience (1-2 years).
- Maintain good relationships with clients, peers, vendors, and suppliers.
- Positive feedback from previous employers/clients is preferred.
