Job summary

Amphenol Communications Solutions – Perai, Penang is hiring a Production Technician (Stamping) responsible for operating and setting up stamping presses from 32 to 120 ton, and ensuring the quality and quantity of manufactured products.

You will perform press setups, verify tooling, handle materials, run multiple machines, and use measuring devices like vernier calipers, micrometers, and shadow graphs. Shift work includes 12-hour days and nights.

Qualifications

• SPM or equivalent education.
• Some machining experience preferred.
• Ability to operate multiple primary machines.
• Willing to work 12-hour shifts and rotate between day and night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Set up stamping presses from 32 to 120 ton using standard work procedures and machine software.
• Perform tool setups in minimum time.
• Verify tooling status before starting setup.
• Safely retrieve and return tooling to storage areas.
• Run a minimum of two primary machines simultaneously.
• Ensure quality and quantity of manufactured products.
