Job summary

Flex is seeking a Staffing HR Manager to support our Penang-based teams in Bukit Minyak. You will lead end-to-end recruitment, coordinate interviews, and collaborate with hiring managers to source top talent.

You will screen candidates, liaise with agencies, arrange interviews, and provide timely feedback and offers. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in HR and 8+ years of HR experience, with foreign worker hiring experience being an advantage.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in HR Management or related field.
• Minimum 8 years in Human Resources or related experience.
• Prior experience in end-to-end foreign worker hiring is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Prepare internal and external job advertisements, postings, and agency briefs in line with recruitment standards.
• Screen and shortlist candidates, liaise with agencies, and coordinate interviews with hiring managers.
• Respond to enquiries from candidates, managers and agencies regarding vacancies and process timelines while upholding privacy standards.
• Contact candidates, arrange interview times, and develop appropriate interview questions with the hiring manager.
• Interview, check references and recommend top candidates.
• Provide feedback to unsuccessful candidates based on established criteria and recruitment policies.
• Prepare job offer materials in line with job specs to help candidates decide whether to accept the position.
• Represent the organization at job fairs and recruitment events to attract talent.

Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Staffing HR Manager located in Bukit Minyak, Penang.

What a typical day looks like:

• Prepare internal and external job advertisements, web postings, specifications for external recruitment agencies, job descriptions and other materials in accordance with the organization’s recruitment standards and business needs so that potential job applicants have the information they need to decide whether, and how to apply for a vacant position.
• Screen and shortlist candidates, liaise with agencies, and coordinate interviews with hiring manager.
• Respond to enquiries from candidates, hiring managers and external recruitment agencies about the organization’s recruitment activities and about the status of job vacancies so that interested parties are kept informed without compromising the organization’s standards of privacy and confidentiality.
• Contact candidates, arrange interview times and develop appropriate interview questions in collaboration with the hiring manager so that interviews are conducted efficiently and equitably.
• Interview, check references and recommend most qualified candidates.
• Provide feedback to unsuccessful candidates based on the job's pre-established selection criteria and the organization’s recruitment policies.
• Prepare job offer materials in accordance with the agreed job specifications so that successful candidates have all the information they need to decide whether to accept the position.
• Represent the organization at job fairs and other recruitment venues so that potential candidates have an opportunity to learn about the organization and its recruitment activities.

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

• Requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management or any related field.
• Requires minimum 8 years in Human Resources or related experience.
• Prior experience in handling end-to-end foreign worker hiring will be an added advantage.
• Strategic & result-oriented thinking; Good leadership, especially good at communication and empower subordinates.
