Job Description

In your new role you will:

• Provide project and operation support, system administration, and software development for Ideation & Innovation Solutions.
• Provide technical consultation (e.g., application design/development, effort estimation) based on business user requirements and system needs.
• Investigate application errors, troubleshoot issues on client and server sides, and provide solutions.
• Develop, test, troubleshoot, pilot, and maintain scripts after rollout.
• Handle project development tasks including application integration via API, functionality testing, performance benchmarking, installation, and deployment within IT IM scope.
• Collaborate with application owners and project teams to ensure timely delivery within scope and budget, including deployment and release activities.
• Conduct quality assurance activities such as testing and code reviews.
• Analyze requirements and assess feasibility for new change requests.
• Consult and propose solutions based on gathered information.

Your Profile

You are best suited for this role if you have:

• A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in software development (preferred).
• Experience in Object-Oriented Programming like Java and REST API development.
• Experience in web programming including Spring MVC, Servlets, JavaScript, JSON, and HTML.
• Knowledge of REST API development, XML content management (XML, XSLT, DTD, XPath), and application servers such as Apache Tomcat, JBoss, IIS.
• Experience with Windows servers for Tomcat and IIS.
• Knowledge of Openshift Kubernetes and server administration is an advantage.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
• Proficiency with source control tools like Git, Azure DevOps, SVN.
• Experience with databases such as Oracle SQL and Microsoft SQL, and PLSQL.
• Understanding of software testing methodologies and debugging techniques.
• Ability to write clean, maintainable, and scalable code.
• Experience in project management, requirements gathering, integration and system testing.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
