The Research & Development Team Provides Value Add By

Defining, implementing, and maintaining R&D strategy, guidelines, systems, and services for VISHAY.

Aligning and ensuring the implementation of R&D budgets, monitoring R&D programs, and allocating resources.

Planning, coordinating, and implementing R&D projects and processes, such as technology research projects and product & test development programs.

Leading the identification and consolidation of R&D projects in line with technological trends and development plans.

Coordinating research, development, and pre-industrialization of products.

Representing VISHAY's R&D capabilities externally to customers, partners, and other stakeholders.

A Job At This Level

Designing and developing optocoupler products and their packaging to facilitate new product launches from prototyping to mass production.

Planning, designing, managing, and executing optocoupler product and package development, including testing programs and procedures.

Evaluating opportunities and risks associated with applying research findings.

Sourcing, assessing, and analyzing new products, designs, materials, and processes, and recommending improvements to enhance competitiveness.

What You Will Bring Along

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Semiconductor Technology, Microelectronics, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic, Chemical Engineering, Physics)
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in IC/semiconductor environment.
• Good knowledge of semiconductor packaging processes, technology, and testing.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience in hands-on semiconductor testing and test development is an advantage.
