Sunway Medical Centre Velocity in Cheras, Kuala Lumpur is seeking a talented and dedicated Staff Nurse to join our Radiology Department. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting the efficient operation of our radiology services.

Job Description

  • Providing professional and compassionate nursing care to patients undergoing various radiological examinations and procedures
  • Assisting radiologists and radiographers in the preparation and administration of contrast media and other necessary medications
  • Monitoring patient vital signs and responding promptly to any changes in a patient's condition
  • Maintaining accurate and detailed patient records, ensuring compliance with hospital policies and procedures
  • Effectively communicating with patients, their families, and members of the multidisciplinary healthcare team

Requirements & Qualifications

  • A registered nurse with a valid Practicing Certificate from the Malaysian Nursing Board
  • Minimum 2 years of post-registration experience, preferably in a radiology or acute care setting
  • Excellent clinical skills and knowledge of radiological nursing principles and procedures
  • Proficient in patient assessment, medication administration, and emergency management
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
