Job description

Responsibilities

  1. Handling of medications: Including dispensing prescriptions, maintaining cleanliness in the dispensing area, checking labels on all dispensed drugs, and related medication duties.
  2. Patient care: Assisting doctors with patient care, including basic procedures and clerical duties.
  3. Recordkeeping: Maintaining and updating patient records using the system.
  4. Administrative duties: Performing administrative tasks as assigned by the branch manager and doctor, including managing claims for the Third Party Panel.
  5. Patient information: Obtaining patient information and performing recordkeeping tasks.
  6. Diagnostic tests: Performing simple diagnostic tests.
  7. Welcoming patients: Greeting patients and preparing them for consultations with nurses and physicians.
  8. Sanitizing: Sanitizing treatment rooms to ensure hygiene.
  9. Preparing patients: Assisting in preparing patients for examinations, such as pre-employment check-ups.
  10. Dispensing drugs: Dispensing drugs as prescribed by doctors.
  11. Communication: Communicating effectively with medical officers, management, and patients. Includes duties such as managing duty rosters, time off, and leave.
  12. Customer service: Providing excellent customer service to ensure a satisfactory patient experience.

Requirements

  • Minimum Diploma in Nursing or Medical Assistant.
  • Registered with the Malaysian Nursing/Medical Assistant Board.
  • Possess a valid Annual Practicing Certificate (APC).
  • Position based at our in-house clinic in Alor Gajah, Melaka.
  • Ability to travel to other company-operated clinics within Melaka as needed.
