ORION CONSORTIUM SDN. BHD. in Rasah, Negeri Sembilan is seeking a compassionate Staff Nurse Dialysis to join our healthcare team.

You will provide direct patient care, monitor vital signs, manage dialysis equipment and support patients throughout treatment. The role requires 2–3 years of renal or dialysis experience, strong client communication, infection control discipline, and the ability to work in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse qualification with a valid nursing licence or registration.
• Minimum of 2–3 years' experience in renal nursing or dialysis care or relevant medical-surgical nursing experience.
• Knowledge of dialysis procedures, techniques and potential complications.

Responsibilities

• Administer dialysis treatment to patients per protocols and orders.
• Monitor and record vital signs, fluid balance, and clinical status during treatment.
• Prepare and operate dialysis equipment, ensuring safe and correct functioning.
• Assist with vascular access care, including cannulation and post-treatment management.
• Maintain accurate patient records and nursing observations.
• Provide emotional support and patient education on dialysis and self-care.

About the role

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Staff Nurse Dialysis to join our healthcare team at ORION CONSORTIUM SDN. BHD. in Rasah, Negeri Sembilan. This is a full-time position that plays a vital role in delivering high-quality renal care and support to patients undergoing dialysis treatment. As a Staff Nurse Dialysis, you will be responsible for providing direct patient care, monitoring vital signs, managing dialysis equipment, and ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for our patients. This position is integral to our commitment to excellence in healthcare delivery and patient outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Administer dialysis treatment to patients in accordance with prescribed protocols and medical orders
• Monitor and record patients' vital signs, fluid balance, and overall clinical condition throughout treatment sessions
• Prepare and operate dialysis equipment, ensuring all machinery is functioning correctly and safely
• Assist patients with vascular access care, including cannulation and post-treatment management
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including treatment documentation and nursing observations
• Provide emotional support and patient education regarding dialysis treatment and self-care management
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary healthcare team, including nephrologists and dietitians, to optimise patient care plans
• Identify and report any complications or changes in patient condition to medical staff promptly
• Maintain a clean and hygienic dialysis environment, adhering to infection control protocols
• Respond to patient needs and concerns with professionalism and compassion

What we're looking for

• Registered Nurse qualification with a valid nursing licence or registration
• Minimum of 2-3 years' experience in renal nursing or dialysis care, or relevant medical-surgical nursing experience
• Strong knowledge of dialysis procedures, techniques and potential complications
• Proficiency in operating and troubleshooting dialysis equipment
• Excellent patient communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced healthcare environment whilst maintaining attention to detail
• Sound knowledge of infection control and patient safety protocols
• Physical capability to perform manual tasks, including assisting patients and managing equipment
• Commitment to continuous professional development and staying updated with best practice standards
• Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends and on-call duties as required
• Preferably certified in Basic Life Support or Advanced Cardiac Life Support
