Job summary

A leading healthcare organization is seeking a Staff Nurse for its dialysis unit. The Nurse will assist in providing comprehensive patient care, performing treatments, and maintaining high standards of nursing practice. Candidates must possess a Diploma in Nursing and be registered with the Malaysia Nursing Board. This role requires effective communication skills to engage with patients and medical staff, ensuring optimal patient outcomes without night shifts. Openings available in Puchong and Petaling Jaya.

Qualifications

• Registered with Malaysia Nursing Board with valid practicing certificate.
• No work experience required.
• Fluency in Bahasa Malaysia and English preferred.

Assist the Nurse Manager / Assistant Nurse Manager in the smooth running of the dialysis unit.

Perform haemodialysis treatment, monitor and administer medications to patients.

Implementation, management and maintenance of ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System.

Directs and supervises nursing activities related to patients’ care.

Maintain the optimum level of patients’ care with allocated staff and resources.

Cannulating, initiating and discontinuing dialysis.

Assist in counseling and education of patients in drugs, fluid, diet management and blood test results.

Maintains an effective communication and professional relationship with physicians, patients, families and other departmental staffs.

Assists in developing and implement unit policies and procedures and standards of nursing care.

Maintains inventory of supplies and equipment requisitioning repairs as needed.

Preparation of Heparin injection.

Minimum Diploma in Nursing

Registered with Malaysia Nursing Board

Possess valid practicing certificate

No work experience required.

No night shift
