Job summary

Robert Bosch Group in Malaysia seeks an experienced energy and environmental coordinator to lead EnMS implementation, drive waste and LEV compliance, and coordinate energy committees. You will work with management and cross-functional teams to sustain continuous improvement and meet EECA and ISO requirements.

Responsibilities include developing measurement plans, performing audits, preparing performance reports, and guiding action plans.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience in project, waste and energy management.
• Ability to communicate to all levels of management, and cross functionally with business.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Be flexible to take on ad-hoc assignment or project as necessary.
• Data management and tracking skills.
• Decision making strength is essential; ability to lead projects.

Responsibilities

• Assist Management Representative and collaborate with committee members to establish, implement, maintain and improve EnMS.
• Coordinate and guide Energy committee on technical discussions in meetings.
• Develop measurement plans and identify energy efficiency projects.
• Ensure action plans to improve energy performance are implemented.
• Report EnMS performance to top management at determined intervals.
• Act as Waste Disposal Coordinator, advising on waste design, labeling and transport.
• Promote worker participation in Energy and Environmental programs and awareness.
• Ensure conformance to EnMS, Waste Management and LEV requirements and local regulations.
• Conform to EECA 2024 requirements and maintain related documentation.
• Participate in ISO audits (9001, 14001, TS16949, ISO50001) and government/customer audits.
• Collaborate with Site Safety Officer and DH to ensure safe work practices.
• Engage in CST and RST activities and drive continuous improvement.
• Work with departments to resolve Energy and Environment issues toward departmental goals.
• Attend and complete any other duties assigned by the Superior.

Job Description

• Assist Management Representative and collaborate with committee members to establish,implement, effectively maintain and continually improve Energy Management System (EnMS)
• Coordinate and guide the Energy committee on technical discussion in meeting
• Assist the Energy committee in developing measurement plans, identifying potential efficiencyimprovement projects, establishing criteria and method to ensure operation and control of the EnMSare effective
• Ensure action plans to continually improve energy performance is implemented
• Report performance of EnMS and energy efficiency performance to top management ormanagement representative at determined intervals
• Perform the role as a Waste Disposal Coordinator in advising executives on the design of work andmanufacturing processes to avoid waste and specifying rules on the separation and labelling ofwaste, including collection, delivery, storage, and in-company transportation.
• Promote the participation and consultation of workers to support Energy and Environmental relatedprograms and awareness campaign
• Ensure conformance to EnMS, Wastes Management, and LEV requirements and compliance to localregulations
• Assume responsibilities as per Energy Efficiency and Conservation Act (EECA) 2024
• Ensure Energy, Wastes and LEV related documentation is accessible and well maintained
• Involve in ISO 9001, ISO 14001, TS16949, ISO50001 and other audits inclusive of governmentand customer audits. Ensure all OPL’s related to this audit is closed on a timely manner.
• To work closely with Site Safety Officer (HSE) and DH in ensuring safe work practice isalways practiced in Bosch.
• Participate and contribute in Cluster Service Team (CST) and Regional Service Team (RST)activities.
• Responsible to propose and conduct continuous improvement plan for job scope relatedsystem
• Responsible to work closely with respective departments to resolve all FCM Energy andEnvironment related issues. Support and work towards achieving the departmental goal.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Industrial Engineering
• Professional working experience at least 10 yearsin project, waste and energy management
• Ability to communicate to all levels of management, and cross functionally with business
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Be flexible to take on ad-hoc assignment or project as necessary.
• Computer literate with an aptitude for figures
• Advanced Microsoft Office (particular Word, Excel, Project)
• SAP knowledge and S4Hana will be added advantage
• Team player and able to work independently with minimum supervision Data
  management and tracking skills
• Decision making strength is essential Ability to lead the project
