Perform process transfer, process development, characterization, and qualification for technology transfer and development.
- Perform new equipment start-up involving process characterization and development.
- Develop innovative processes and process characterization methodologies for existing and new technologies.
- Partner with technology development, technology integration, production, planning, business divisions, and global process development teams to map and enable future technologies.
- Ensure process stability, sustainment, and improvement to meet company targets.
- Implement integration block re-use and tool extendibility to maximize re-use strategy.
- Conduct FMEA, risk assessments of process changes, and manage process change procedures.
- Initiate, coordinate, and support excursions prevention, productivity, and quality improvement projects.
- Interface with production, technology, and quality engineering teams on daily routines.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Engineering, Material Science, or Applied Science.
- Preferably with hands-on experience in wafer fab processes and related equipment engineering.
- 3-5 years of experience in wafer fab wet cleaning, wet etching processes, and related equipment; senior positions for those with over 5 years of experience.
- Strong methodology in technology synchronization, process optimization, and characterization.
- Knowledge of semiconductor unit processes, process integration, device physics, and products is advantageous.
- Experience in technology and product transfer, qualification, and high-volume ramp-up.
