Job description

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Senior Test Development Engineer to join our global engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for the development, enhancement, and optimization of test solutions for power driver ICs across the product lifecycle—from New Product Introduction (NPI) to high-volume production. This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams, including concept engineering, product design, and manufacturing.

Job Description

1. Develop new and enhance existing test packages (test cell, test hardware, test program) for power driver ICs
2. Develop and transfer both FE wafer test and BE final test packages to IFX and subcontractor production sites
3. Define test concepts, Design for Test, and test specifications in collaboration with the concept engineering and design teams
4. Contribute innovative ideas, actively manage risks, and demonstrate a sense of urgency for test-related innovations
5. Implement new test concepts and methods for NPI products, including analysis, debugging, and characterization on testers
6. Identify and implement test package improvements and conversions to optimize test time and costs in volume production
7. Optimize test packages throughout the product lifecycle and support yield monitoring and lot disposition
8. Handle electrical analysis in case of customer rejects or production test issues, collaborating with product engineering and design teams
9. Coach new engineers to enhance their competency and develop subject matter expertise where applicable

Your Profile

1. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering or a comparable field
2. More than 5 years of relevant experience in test engineering for power driver ICs within the semiconductor industry
3. Experience with tester platforms Teradyne ETS88/ETS800 or Advantest V93K, with strong programming skills in C, C++, and Java
4. Skills in developing and troubleshooting test programs and hardware, preferably in analog/mixed-signal power/high-voltage domains (e.g., 1000V)
5. Technical leadership, results-oriented approach, and strong communication skills within global teams
6. Fluent in English
