Coherent Corp. is seeking an engineer to develop and maintain high-standard operation plans to meet engineering KPIs in Penang, Malaysia.

The role focuses on backend process automation, labeling, testing equipment, and integration of automation solutions. You will lead AE/techs/MS on projects, support on-time delivery, reduce scrap and rework, and drive continuous improvement across the automated assembly and inspection systems.

Formación

• Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical/Electronics/Mechatronics/Computer Science (required).
• Good computer literacy and data mining skills.
• Knowledge of C# and VB.Net is advantageous.
• Familiarity with motion control, IO control, robotics and machine vision preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Establish, implement and drive actions to improve process yield and maintenance uptime to meet KPI.
• Backend process maintenance, debugging, machine troubleshooting and software documentation.
• Conduct gage R&R studies and improve capabilities and UPH of automation equipment.
• Provide operator training and improve operator utilization and productivity.
• Ensure safety, ESD, ISO, Cleanroom and housekeeping guidelines are followed.
