Job description

In your new role, you will:

  • Perform process transfer, process development, optimization, and qualification for technology transfer and/or used tool transfer.
  • Develop innovative processes and process characterization methodologies for existing and new technologies.
  • Partner with production modules/departments, technology integration, planning, business divisions, and global process development teams to map and enable future technologies.
  • Ensure process stability, sustainability, and improvement to meet overall company targets.
  • Implement integration block re-use and tool extendibility strategies to maximize re-use.
  • Conduct FMEA, risk assessments of process changes, and manage process change initiatives.
  • Initiate, coordinate, and support projects aimed at excursion prevention, productivity, and quality improvement.
  • Act as an interface between production, technology integration, and quality engineering on daily routines.

You are best equipped for this role if you have:

  • A Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Material Science, Applied Science, Manufacturing Engineering, or related fields.
  • 3-5+ years of hands-on experience in wafer fab wet cleaning, etching, substrate thinning, pre-assembly processes, and related equipment engineering.
  • Experience and proficiency in technology synchronization and process harmonization techniques.
  • Good knowledge of semiconductor unit processes, process integration, device physics, and products; these are advantageous.
  • Hands-on experience with wafer fabrication processes, equipment, and metrology.
  • Knowledge of technology and product transfer, qualification, and high-volume ramp-up processes.
  • Highly innovative, motivated, stress-resistant individuals with a zero-defect mindset.
  • Excellent team players with effective communication skills across different teams and levels.
