Job Description
In your new role you will:
- Equipment Maintenance and Reliability: Develop, implement, and monitor preventive and predictive maintenance schedules to ensure high equipment availability and reliability.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve equipment issues promptly to minimize downtime.
- Identify root causes of equipment failure and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Analyses equipment performance data to identify area for improvement in efficiency, reliability, and quality.
- Coordinate all Safety, Health and Environment activities, establish and maintain all relevant audit documents for tester lab.
- Manage spare part inventory to ensure critical components are available for repair and maintenance. Coordinate with procurement team to source and maintain cost-effective spare parts.
- Cost Control: Monitor and manage equipment-related costs to meet operational budget. Propose cost-saving initiative while maintaining equipment performance standard.
- Collaborate with cross-functional, example: production, engineering, and quality teams to address equipment-related challenges. Support new product process improvement from an equipment perspective.
- Understand Hardware board schematic and troubleshoot hardware related issues, e.g. tester board, socket.
- Perform sample testing to support customer samples.
Your Profile
You are best equipped for this task if you have:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering or comparable
- More than 5 relevant years of experience in test equipment within the semiconductor industry in electronics
- Working experience required on tester platforms Teradyne ETS88/ETS800, uFLEX or Advantest V93K
- Knowledge on the working principle, troubleshooting & diagnostic, interpretation of schematic/electronic circuitry and repair of equipment/test hardware
- Technical analytical skills, problem solving skills, communication and Interpersonal skills.
- Fluent English skills.
