Job description
Overview

Develop, optimize and release manufacturing processes for automated glass wafer bonding and glass wafer stacking including an automated pick & place and glue dispensing process for high volume manufacturing.

Responsibilities
  • Responsible in defining manufacturing concepts includes equipment concept, process flow, process requirement profile, and technical specifications.
  • Responsible for the process buy-off and readiness of process documentation including Process FMEA, Process Control Plan, Process Buy-off reports and Work instruction.
  • Achieve process capability and stability using 6sigma methodology
  • Design experiments (DoE) and analyze results using statistical analysis methods to define process window and enhance the process capabilities and process yield.
  • Specify new equipment requirements and drive equipment development and improvement together with equipment supplier
  • Accountable to identify and implement continuous improvement activities for efficiency gain, first pass yield and quality improvement
  • Work cross functional with multiple groups including Design, Product Engineering, Process Integration, Yield Engineering, Maintenance, Failure Analysis and Quality teams to identify and resolve issues effectively.
  • Summarize complex problems, develop actions to address them, and build consensus across teams to drive for solutions.
  • Responsible for defining and achieving sub-milestones and deliverables for your projects within the larger timelines of the overall program needs.
  • Close collaboration with Manufacturing team as new product, technology and manufacturing process is transferred from R&D phase into production which includes training of the manufacturing team.
  • Support and Contribute to the process and equipment roadmap activities, and keep up to date with the state of the art and future developments in the industry

Experience

3-5 years experience in the field of process development within the semiconductor or optical industry ideally in the area of glass wafer stacking or glue or similar experience
