Qualifications

  • 5-8 years of IT System Administration experience is required.
  • Strong experience with Microsoft Infrastructure and Active Directory.
  • Knowledge of network security systems and data backup.

Meet The Team

The IT Senior Systems Engineer will be a member of the IT Core Services team focusing on Active Directory, Microsoft365 Applications, and other core services systems. Using their experience with Microsoft-based technologies, they will support our on-prem and cloud infrastructure and respond to end-user requests. The IT Systems Administrator will be responsible for installation, configuration, maintenance, uptime, troubleshooting and support of our IT systems to ensure reliable performance that meets Dexcom’s growing, global demands.

Where You Come In

  • You maintain and Support Microsoft Active Directory Infrastructure, including DNS, Domain Controllers and Group Policy management.
  • You maintain and Support Microsoft365 Applications, including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive.
  • You maintain and Support SSO/MFA/IAM platforms like OKTA, AD.
  • You install, Maintain, Upgrade and Support Windows Servers, Operating Systems, Networking and Applications that are part of our Microsoft Infrastructure.
  • You implement, install, and deploy hardware/software enhancements to support Enterprise systems and services.
  • You ensure the monitoring of system/network services and respond to any issues that may impact system uptime. Participate in On Call rotation for systems support.
  • You manage system security, configure user access and permissions, and plan for system growth.
  • You compile and maintain KPIs for system performance and recommend efficiency improvements.
  • You generate reports and gather evidence as needed for internal audits and investigations.
  • You ensure compliance with existing policies and procedures pertaining to Sarbanes-Oxley, FDA and HIPAA regulations.

What Makes You Successful

  • You have IT System Administration Experience.
  • You have Microsoft Certifications in Windows Server, Microsoft 365, and Azure are desirable.
  • You have OKTA, SSO, MFA, IAM relevant knowledge.
  • You have strong Experience with Microsoft Infrastructure, Active Directory, Azure AD and Microsoft365 Applications.
  • You have previous work experience as an IT Systems Administrator is required.
  • You have a good understanding of Exchange Online Messaging, Mailbox Management and Retention Policies.
  • You have detailed knowledge of Windows server configuration, deployment, and maintenance.
  • You have the ability to create PowerShell scripts for Automation tasks is highly desirable.
  • You have experience in formulating, implementing, and adhering to Change Control Processes and Procedures.
  • You have knowledge in OKTA, SSO, MFA, IAM, AD Design/Planning and Management, and TCP/IP principles.
  • You are familiar with modern operating systems and server platforms.
  • You have knowledge of network security systems, intrusion detection systems, and data backup.
  • You have excellent problem-solving skills.
  • You have good analytical, presentation and communication skills.
  • You have aptitude to demonstrate strong initiative and follow through. Strong project management skills.

Experience And Education Requirements

  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in a Technical discipline, and a minimum of 5-8 years related experience or Master's degree and 2 - 5 years equivalent industry experience or a PhD and 0-2 years experience.
