Job description
Overview

To ensure all Inspection, Measurement and Test Equipment’s (IMTE) in SGM/SGMC are compliance with the defined quality management system.

To ensure manufacturing readiness from quality point of view for new product introduction.

To ensure supplier quality management activities compliance with supplier management system.

To ensure adequate metrological and analysis capabilities are available to support qualification, failure analysis, and problem solving activities.

To ensure the conformance to requirement of ISO9001, ISO 14001, ISO45001 and IATF 16949.

Responsible of defining departmental road map and ensure the successful implementation.

Maintain laboratory and/or departmental accreditation, and quality systems.

To support Design Review in term of new product quality planning.

To ensure supplier adhere to quality standards requirement and practicing continuous improvement for defect prevention in order to maximize customer satisfaction.

Be cost effective and ensure department is within the revenue and capex budget as per planned.

Resource planning and man power allocation to maximize efficiency.

Manage, coach and develop a high performing team that meets agreed objective and delivers best practice results and drive for continuous improvements.

Prioritize and manage cross-functional activities

Any tasks/ project assigned to you by your superior(s) from time to time.

Your Profile
  • Min 12 years working experience in manufacturing field or Proven ability in entitled job position.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Physics, Process Technology or Analysis with focus on QA/Metrology or ASQ CQE (ASQ CMQ is preferred) or Six Sigma Black Belt Certification
  • Must possess exceptional organizational and time management skills
  • Resources planning and budget planning
  • Must be able to collaborate and bridge the communications gap between teams and departments
  • Lead, motivate and mentor subordinates and peers in quality tools, especially in statistical approach data analysis; ensure right decisions are made based on the results.
  • Anticipates the needs of internal & external customer and proactively communicates information
  • Able to motivate team; Strong decision making skills; Conflict management; Knowledge management and employee development; Competence in cultivate learning and customer focus organization; Able to prioritize and delegate tasks; Crucial communication and willingly shares information as appropriate for the position.
