Ansell is looking for a Sr Manager, Logistics to join our team in Cyberjaya, Malaysia!

In this position you will play a vital role in for managing the logistics / warehouse / distribution functions to maximize efficiency & optimize productivity in achieving expected performance and ensure all activities are in control in the assigned APAC sub-region (INDIA, CHINA) with direct accountability for logistics spend.

What your role will be?

• Responsible for developing and establishing standard operational policies / procedures / guidelines to ensure smooth and safe flow of goods and materials to meet the customer order fulfilment for the multi-markets, multi-countries for the APAC sub-region (India & China).
• Manage the entire logistics (inbound/outbound) and distribution fulfillment process to ensure timely and accurate deliveries. Oversee order fulfillment, resolve shortages, and expedite shipments to meet customer demands efficiently.
• To lead and develop the team by providing coaching and empowering staff to enhance the performance progress and skill.
• To lead communication efforts with internal teams and external stakeholders to foster collaboration, ensure strategic alignment, and resolve challenges effectively.
• Develop and oversee strategic planning, organization, and management of warehouse, distribution, and logistics operations to drive efficiency, optimize resources, and ensure seamless supply chain execution.
• Managing third party service providers and ensuring timeliness & accuracy of both physical and ERP activities, including storage & delivery capabilities, logistics / consolidation operations to achieve the set target / KPI.
• Responsible for operations excellence through KPI tracking mechanism, process enhancement / simplification, SOP management, work instruction and company policies and procedures.
• Responsible & accountable for inventory control and meeting pre agreed inventory targets and full warehouse costs.
• Ensure the security of inventories, equipment, and other company assets within areas of responsibility.
• Responsible for ensuring only goods as per specifications are received and delivered to customers whilst minimizing damages & repackaging operations at third party warehouse providers.
• Compliance with Company’s policies & legal requirements, all contracts, laws and government requirements of all business activities.
• To ensure proper maintenance of records of stocks and other details for our requirements as well as Government’s requirements.
• Partnership with APAC Trade Compliance team to liaise with Custom Authorities regarding import, export and exemption procedures.
• Any other duties as assigned by the superior from time to time and oversee new project start- ups & project management.

What will you bring to Ansell?

• Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management or Logistics or Business or equivalent.
• 5 years of related experience in Warehousing, Distribution, Transportation, Consolidation and Logistics operating / functional role & responsibilities.
• At least 2 years of related experience in Warehouse/Logistic tendering.
• Knowledge of operations and key drivers impacting an integrated supply chain process.
• Knowledge of ERP/WMS or similar supply chain solutions.
• Good knowledge of Ocean Freight & Air Freight products, Warehousing and Consolidation Operations and Logistics Operations.
• Familiar with Malaysia’s import and export regulations will be an added advantage.
• Acquired knowledge in general shipping matters – ie.L/C, shipping documentation, claims, CFS & Port operations, clearance, freighting, shipment terms, etc.
• Knowledgeable and experience in international logistics receiving and shipping models & process flows set up, networks & solutions and basic Supply Chain Management.
