Job summary

A leading technology firm in Kulai seeks a Senior Accountant to oversee month-end inventory closing and report preparations. The ideal candidate must have over 12 years of accounting experience, preferably in the manufacturing sector, along with strong knowledge of US and Malaysia GAAP. Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Responsible for Inventory month-end closing.
• Prepare inventory related reports for auditors.
• Review and prepare IPE for closing entries.
• Process and review daily cost accounting matters.
• Lead project assignments and ad-hoc requests.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

the responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

• Be responsible for Inventory month-end closing, preparing reports to US team with deadline.
• Prepare inventory related report, and requirements from Internal & External auditors.
• Review and preparing IPE for closing entries, including PPV、Warranty、E&O、MOH etc.
• Process and review cost accounting daily matter：Goods receipt、inventory movements or adjustments if any.
• Lead project assignments, ad-hoc requests assigned.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
• Fluent in writing and speaking English, organizational and communication skills.
• At least 12 years accounting experience.
• Experienced with more than 5 years working in, manufacturing industry is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of US & Malaysia GAAP, experienced with more than 3 years working in Big 4 Accounting Firm is preferred.
• Proactive, detail oriented, organized.
• Ability to work under multi-tasks and time pressure with deadlines.
