Job description

Job Purpose:
The Senior Logistics Executive will oversee and coordinate supply chain and logistics operations to ensure timely, cost-effective delivery of goods. This role involves collaborating with internal teams, managing vendor relationships, optimizing logistics processes, and maintaining high standards throughout the logistics chain. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee daily logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and inventory management.
  2. Coordinate with suppliers, carriers, and internal departments to ensure timely delivery of products and materials.
  3. Develop and implement logistics strategies to optimize processes and reduce costs.
  4. Manage logistics budgets and monitor expenses to align with financial goals.
  5. Ensure compliance with shipping regulations and standards.
  6. Analyze logistical data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  7. Lead and support logistics team members through training and coaching.
  8. Collaborate with procurement, sales, and customer service teams for seamless order fulfillment.
  9. Prepare reports on logistics performance, inventory, and supply chain effectiveness for senior management.
  10. Address and resolve logistics issues, customer complaints, or disruptions promptly.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in logistics or supply chain management.
  • Experience in preparing LMW reports and Form E for ACFTA applications.
  • Strong understanding of logistics regulations, transportation methods, and supply chain processes.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with data-driven decision-making ability.
  • Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
