Your day to day
Oversee the operation in MP including capacity readiness, change management, process validation, quality improvement for our electronic devices in our manufacturing sites to maintain expected efficiency, productivity and improve sustainability, in addition you will need to lead packaging industrialization.
- PVT build result review and escalation of issues that cause UPH and Yield failures to meet target. Drive improvement on issue closure before OK2MP.
- Review and validate the EMS ramp‑up plan of new products and monitor readiness, escalating DFM issues found during PVT runs. Follow up with action owners on issue closure.
- Lead packaging industrialization for NPI or TT, including process flow definition, automation and fixture design, process validation, shipping case and palletization design, and possible optimization.
- Lead/support the qualification of copy lines, process changes and the second source of material owned by EMS/ODM, including DFM, PFMEA, IOPQ.
- Chair weekly yield, output, and quality meetings with EMS, provide onsite support problem FA, and serve as an RCA team member to drive root cause analysis and improvement for OQA/SI and top field/RMA failures with EMS.
- Review post‑ECN control run matrix proposed by EMS and drive EMS for on‑time ECN, TPCR, and PPI implementation.
- Scrapping procedure definition and scrapping activity audit.
Who We’re Looking For
- Electrical/Electronic Engineering or Mechanical Engineering degree.
- 5–8 years of experience in test, product or process engineering supporting manufacturing of electronic consumer products, with a minimum of 2 years of experience with an EMS/ODM factory.
- Good knowledge of manufacturing process validation, including DOE, IQ, OQ, PQ, GR&R, and CPK study.
- Proven capability and experience in problem solving, familiar with PFMEA, 8D, SPC, MSA, PPAP, and lean six sigma. Experience in Test Engineering is an added advantage.
- Good analytical skills and interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, changing environment with multiple priorities and drive results. Ability to collaborate and work in a team.
