Job summary

ADVANCED ENERGY INDUSTRIES (MALAYSIA) SDN. BHD. is seeking a Sr Data Analyst (Process Excellence) to lead ERP migration efforts, including Oracle, SAP ECC and Ariba integrations. You will collaborate with IT, Finance and regional procurement teams to drive milestones, change management, and training materials creation.

The role focuses on data flow, process standardization, governance and post-implementation reviews to ensure successful adoption across sites.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in ERP implementation, process improvement or business transformation.
• Strong knowledge of SAP S/4HANA and Ariba is a plus.
• Experience in process mapping, documentation and governance.

Responsibilities

• Work on end-to-end ERP migration projects.
• Monitor milestones, risks, dependencies and escalate issues.
• Drive standardization and optimization of business processes.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and governance frameworks.
• Conduct post-implementation reviews and embed continuous improvement.

The Sr Data Analyst (Process Excellence) will work on the implementation of Next Gen procurement systems, including Oracle, SAP ECC and Ariba integrations, ensuring seamless data flow and user adoption across sites. Act as the transformation program manager, collabrate with consultants, IT, Finance, and regional procurement teams to deliver on key milestones and ensure change management readiness. Support capability building by developing training materials and SOPs for new tools and processes.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Work on end-to-end ERP migration project, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business goals
• Monitor project milestones, risks and dependencies. Escalate issues as needed.
• Drive standardization and optimization of business process across departments.
• Ensure compliance with internal control, governance frameworks and industry best practices.
• Coduct post-implementation reviews and embed continuous improvement.
• Support change management initiatives to ensure ERP adoption.
• Develop training materials and lead knowledge transfer sessions to end users.
• Collatborate with consultant, IT, operations, finance and compliance team to define and validate:To-Be” process.
• Support / responsible for global AE manufacturing factories, design and global service centers

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

• Works in a standard office environment
• uses general office equipment (telephone, PC, copier, etc.)
• Travel may be required.

SKILLS:

• Proactive problem solver with strong planning orientation.
• Excellent working knowledge of purchasing and electronic manufacturing processes.
• Capability to respond quickly, decisively, assertively and professionally to changing requirements
• People management skills and ability to train, mentor and develop a team of buyers
• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
• Proficient with SAP or Ariba
• Excellent PC skills including Excel, Word, MS Standard Office

EXPERIENCE:

• 5+ years of experience in ERP implementation, process improvement or business transformation.
• Strong knowledge of ERP platforms including SAP S4 HANA and Ariba is a significant plus.
• Experience in process mapping, documentation and governance.
• Willingness to take need-based calls in the US time zone.
• Experience in supply chain management in an electronics manufacturing environment.

EDUCATION:

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering or related fields.
