We are seeking a motivated and skilled Sr Program Manager in Malaysia. In this role, you will play a key part in achieving our strategic objectives through analytics. Collaborating with team members across Micron’s global sites, you will contribute to our profitability and future cost reduction goals. You will lead cross-functional initiatives across category teams, developing and implementing insights that empower the team to meet business objectives. Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide training & mentoring related to industry expertise (Mechanical, EMS, Equipment, etc.) to related CSMs on specific categories’ should-cost analysis.
2. Work closely with related CSMs using the McKinsey Cleansheet system to create should-cost models, gather & validate data, and analyze cost gaps to identify continuous cost improvement opportunities.
3. Collaborate with should-cost champions to evaluate and validate should-cost models quarterly. Report on related KPIs, including savings opportunities and should-cost adherence rates.
4. Work with CSM & SMAI teams to apply process improvements and automation for should-cost activities.
5. Support Design for Cost efforts across Sourcing, Engineering, and Business units.

Requirements:

1. Experience with product cost analysis, including understanding cost structures, investigating cost elements, and exploring improvements.
2. Deep knowledge of related commodities’ operations, raw material pricing, and market conditions.
3. Proficient in oral & written English.
4. Experience with McKinsey Cleansheet or similar systems is a plus.
