Job summary

Micron Technology is seeking a proactive Supply Chain & Procurement professional in Malaysia to manage material planning, supplier relationships, and capacity readiness. You will forecast materials, own purchase orders, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure uninterrupted manufacturing operations.

The role requires a degree in Engineering or Supply Chain, plus experience in procurement or engineering. SAP and MS Office proficiency are advantageous in a fast-paced global environment.

• Negotiate with suppliers on capacity and lead time.
• Lead EMS supply assurance activities to support manufacturing operations.
• Drive supply fungibility across the network.

Responsibilities

• Supplier key point of contact for supply assurance and execution.Define Materials Buy rule andensure compliance to buy rule. Publish forecast, and be the owner for PO management, order confirmation,reschedulingand optimizing raw material liability.
• Build and develop materials specific supply executionstrategy,includeMaterials and Critical Raw Materials (Tier 1) capacity planning and readiness. Perform regular monthly/quarterly review or necessary to drive capacity readiness and bottleneck resolution through response to capacity need request.Perform negotiation with supplier on Capacity and Leadtime.
• Develop and ensure demand service level and safety stock attainment are met. Global WOS owner and own supply allocation. Perform demand supply insight analysis. Host Global WOS review with leadership team.
• Drive supply fungibility across network.
• Be the owner of supply shortage resolution, elevate optimally for supply fulfillment.
• Incorporate supplier product /process EOL management into the overall supply assurance strategy.
• Prepare and present forecast,capacityand OTD/LTD in supplier QBR/ASEcommercial meeting.Lead businesssurvey of supplier lead-time andperformLTD/OTD metric review and recommend for improvement.
• Responsible for Info record Leadtime update or any other system update requirement on monthly basis.
• Demonstrate AI dexterity and drive BKM/improvement.
• SME for system and tools and process.
• Lead EMS supply assurance activities by ensuring material readiness, driving compliance with the latest material policies, mitigating supply risks, and resolving supply issues to support uninterrupted manufacturing operations.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in:

• Engineering
• Supply Chain Management
• Related field of study

Experiences

Minimum5years’ experience in one or more of the following: Engineering,Purchasing/Procurement,Supply Chain
