Our client is a leading oil & gas machining specialist in Southeast Asia, operating from a 90,000 sq ft state-of-the-art facility in Kulai, Johor. With a strong international footprint and a reputation for engineering excellence, the company continues to expand across multiple industries and markets.

They are looking for an energetic and progressive (Sr) Accountant/Accounts Manager to join them in their Malaysia office. They offer the candidate immense opportunities to grow in an international operation across diverse industries and to take on finance related responsibilities beyond financial accounting.

(SR) ACCOUNTANT/ACCOUNTING MANAGER (based in Kulai, Johor)

Responsibilities
  • Preparation of full set of financial reports. Ensure timely and accurate reporting.
  • Review financial indices and track the progress of the company’s performance against budgets. Work with functional heads to identity key issues and collaboratively set action plans to optimize the Company’s financial performance.
  • Develop and implement adequate and effective internal controls to minimize relevant risks.
  • Handle annual audits and tax matters and ensure timely and efficient closures.
  • Continuously review existing processes and re-design the system to keep up with new business processes and/or to improve the productivity of the Finance function.
Skill Requirements
  • At least 2 years relevant working experience.
  • Questioning mind, progressive attitude and IT savvy.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
