Job summary

WD is seeking a Sputter Process Engineering Supervisor to plan and coordinate sputter systems start-up and conversion activities, audit parameters, and drive improvements for yield and quality in a high-volume manufacturing environment.

You will lead process improvement projects, train technicians and engineers, and collaborate with the shift team to sustain sputter performance, safety, and documentation. The role demands strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of sputter process engineering experience in semiconductor/electronics manufacturing.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation abilities.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate sputter start-up/conversion activities and documentation.
• Audit sputter parameters; monitor online SPC and conformance.
• Lead sputter process troubleshooting and improvement projects to boost utilization and quality.
• Coach and train process techs and junior engineers.
• Lead long-term improvement projects (SU/STT/Cost/Quality/PPH).
