This role involves ensuring long-term customer satisfaction, team development, economic performance, and implementing Decathlon Malaysia's local commercial policies.
Your Responsibilities:
- To Customers:
- Understand the technical features and benefits of products to offer appropriate recommendations to customers.
- Manage team availability to meet sales activity needs through effective scheduling.
- Encourage customer registration for loyalty programs to enhance customer information.
- To The Team:
- Recruit sports talents with a sense of service, vitality, and practicality.
- Ensure the team structure aligns with Decathlon Malaysia's commercial policies and targets.
- Develop team members' skills and confidence through regular coaching and meetings.
- Create training and development plans for the team.
- Maintain standard employment processes.
- To The Company:
- Set and propose annual objectives approved by leadership.
- Analyze the local market and develop commercial policies for each sport.
- Decide store layout and product range to reflect commercial strategies.
- Forecast and manage economic performance, implementing improvement actions.
- Utilize resources and tools to maximize sales.
- Manage the customer sports experience to encourage discovery and innovation.
- Design store layout according to implantation principles and maintain it for customer satisfaction.
- Ensure stock accuracy and availability through automated systems.
- For Safety of People and Goods:
- Enforce safety standards within the department.
- Implement security procedures to prevent shrinkage.
- Train the team on safety basics.
- Observe product safety policies, including traceability and expiry dates.
- Lead the store as duty manager when required.
- Development and Complementary Skills:
- Manage personal development and training plans.
- Participate in and develop training skills to become a trainer.
- Support teammates' skill improvement alongside leadership.
