As a Sports Advisor, your role is to ensure all customers leave our stores satisfied. Responsibilities

  • Welcome customers professionally and ensure their satisfaction.
  • Handle returns, complaints, and checkout processes effectively.
  • Educate customers on omni-channel brand offerings and products.
  • Know the technical features and benefits of Decathlon products to recommend suitable options.
  • Develop personal relationships with customers both in-store and online.
  • Pass on sports passion and help customers discover new sports.
  • Encourage subscription/registration for loyalty programs.
  • Participate in community sports events around the store.
  • Align with the department's goals and work with the team to achieve them.
  • Promote innovation and enhance the sports experience in-store.
  • Utilize resources and commercial tools to boost sales.
  • Maintain proper store layout and product placement according to guidelines.
  • Ensure stock accuracy and availability using the replenishment system.
  • Raise awareness about Decathlon Connect among stakeholders.
  • Enforce safety and security standards to protect people and goods.
  • Participate in safety drills and adhere to fire safety and evacuation procedures.
  • Implement security procedures to prevent shrinkage.
  • Follow product safety policies regarding sensitive items and expiry dates.
  • Manage personal development and participate in training programs.
  • Assist in training teammates and improving team skills.

Profile

Requirements

  • Students or individuals seeking part-time roles are encouraged to apply.
  • Hourly rate: RM13.56
  • Strong communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia (written and spoken); other languages are a plus.
  • Bachelor's Degree or Diploma required.
