As a Sports Advisor (Sales), your role is to ensure all customers leave our stores satisfied. From a friendly welcome to a quick and easy payment process, you will deliver a 5-star shopping experience. Decathlon invests heavily in teammate development, enabling those who wish to build a career within the company to flourish.
Responsibilities
- Welcome customers professionally.
- Ensure customer satisfaction by providing suitable solutions for returns, complaints, and checkout.
- Know the technical features and benefits of Decathlon products to recommend appropriate products and services.
- Develop customer relationships both in-store and online.
- Pass on sports passion and help customers discover new sports.
- Encourage loyalty card subscriptions to enhance customer information.
- Align with Decathlon Malaysia's goals and promote store innovation and sports experiences.
- Use resources and tools to boost sales.
- Arrange store layout according to guidelines to ensure high-quality presentation.
- Maintain stock accuracy and availability using the replenishment system.
- Enforce safety and security standards to protect people and goods.
- Participate in training and develop skills to become a trainer.
Profile
Requirements
- Strong communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia (written and spoken); additional languages are a plus.
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma required.
- Open to fresh graduates and experienced candidates.
- Customer-centric with a strong sense of service.
- Willing to help others, both teammates and customers.
- Responsible, self-motivated, and adaptable to a fast-paced environment.
- Human-first mindset with excellent communication skills.
- Available to work during weekends and holidays.
