As a Sports Advisor (Sales), your role is to ensure all customers leave our stores satisfied. From a friendly and professional welcome to a quick and easy payment process, your goal is to always deliver a 5-star shopping experience. Decathlon invests heavily in the development of teammates to help those who want to build careers within the business flourish.
Your Responsibilities
- To Customers
- Welcome customers professionally.
- Fully commit to customer satisfaction and find suitable solutions for situations like returns, complaints, and checkout.
- Know the features and benefits of Decathlon products to offer appropriate products and services.
- Develop relationships with customers both in-store and online.
- Pass on sports passion and help customers discover new sports.
- Encourage subscription/registration for loyalty programs to enhance customer information.

- Understand the department's goals and work with the team to achieve them.
- Promote innovation and enhance the sports experience in-store.
- Utilize resources and tools to boost sales.
- Arrange store layout according to guidelines.
- Ensure high-quality store presentation based on Customer Satisfaction principles.
- Maintain stock accuracy and availability using the replenishment system.
- Safety of People and Goods
- Enforce safety and security standards.
- Know and implement fire safety and evacuation procedures.
- Development and Skills Enhancement
- Participate in training and develop skills to become a trainer.
Profile
- Strong communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia (written and spoken); additional languages are a plus.
- Minimum qualification: Diploma.
- Open to fresh graduates and experienced candidates.
- Customer-centric with a strong sense of service.
- Willing to help others, including teammates and customers.
- Responsible, self-motivated, and adaptable to a fast-paced environment.
- Human-first mindset with high communication skills.
- Able to work as part of a team during busy times (weekends and holidays).
