As a Sports Advisor (Sales), your role is to ensure all customers leave our stores satisfied. From a friendly and professional welcome to a quick and easy payment process, your goal is to deliver a 5-star shopping experience. Decathlon invests heavily in the development of teammates to help those who wish to build careers within the business flourish.
Responsibilities
- Welcome customers professionally.
- Ensure customer satisfaction by providing suitable solutions for returns, complaints, checkout, etc.
- Know the technical features and benefits of Decathlon products to recommend appropriate products and services.
- Develop a network of customers both in-store and online to build personal relationships.
- Pass on sports passion and help customers discover new sports.
- Encourage customers to subscribe/register for the loyalty card to improve customer information.
- Align with Decathlon Malaysia's goals and collaborate with the team to achieve them.
- Promote innovation and enhance the sports experience in-store.
- Increase sales by utilizing available resources and commercial tools.
- Arrange the store layout according to implantation principles and guidelines.
- Create high-quality store layouts based on the Satisfied Customer Family (FCS) concept.
- Maintain attractive store facing to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Ensure stock accuracy and availability using the automatic replenishment system.
- Enforce safety and security standards to protect people and goods.
- Understand and implement fire safety and evacuation procedures.
- Participate in training to develop skills and potentially become a trainer.
Profile
- Strong communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia (written and spoken); additional languages are a plus.
- Minimum qualification: Bachelor's Degree or Diploma.
- Open to fresh graduates and experienced candidates.
- Customer-centric with a strong service mindset.
- Willing to help others, including teammates and customers.
- Responsible, self-motivated, and adaptable to a fast-paced, agile environment.
- Human-first attitude with high communication skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team during busy times (weekends and holidays).
