Your role
Key responsibilities include:
- Welcoming customers professionally and ensuring their satisfaction through effective solutions for returns, complaints, and checkout.
- Understanding technical features and benefits of Decathlon products to recommend appropriate items.
- Building customer relationships both in-store and online, encouraging loyalty card subscriptions.
- Sharing sports passion and helping customers discover new sports.
- Collaborating with the team to achieve departmental goals and promote innovation in-store.
- Maintaining store layout and stock accuracy using the automatic replenishment system.
- Enforcing safety and security standards, including fire safety and evacuation procedures.
- Participating in training and developing skills to become a trainer.
About you
The company is looking for:
- Strong communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia (written and spoken); additional languages are a plus.
- Minimum qualification of Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma.
- Entry-level candidates with less than 2 years of experience, including fresh graduates.
- Customer-centric mindset with a strong sense of service.
- Responsible, self-motivated, adaptable to a fast-paced and agile environment.
- Human-first approach with high communication skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team during busy periods such as weekends and holidays.
- Digitally savvy.
