Job description

Provide assessment and treatment for communication disorders according to clinical and ethical standards to ensure thorough, accurate, and professional speech-language therapy services.

Provide consultation with other professionals and agencies regarding management issues (communication processes, disorders, interactions, and environments) related to patients to ensure timely and effective delivery of speech-language therapy services.

Maintain accurate documentation of clinical services and manage resources for patient care to ensure efficient planning and implementation.

Assist in developing new speech-language therapy services and maintaining existing ones to increase revenue and ensure sustainability and improvement of services.

Support health care promotional activities to properly market speech-language therapy services.

Assist management with clinical administrative tasks related to speech-language therapy services, including charges and resource management.

Job Requirements:

• Possess a Bachelor’s degree in Speech Therapy or Speech Pathology from an accredited university recognized by the Malaysian Association of Speech-Language and Hearing.
• Registered with the Malaysian Allied Health Professions Council (MAHPC) with a valid license to practice.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working with pediatric and/or adult populations.
• Computer literate, with skills in software applications for assessment and treatment of communication disorders.
• Good oral and written communication skills in English and Bahasa Melayu; Mandarin speaking is an advantage.
