A leading healthcare organization in Malaysia seeks a Speech and Language Therapist to assess and treat patients with communication disorders. The ideal candidate will develop personalized treatment plans, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and provide education to patients and families. This role offers a chance to positively impact the quality of life for diverse patients.
Assess, diagnose, and treat individuals with speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs.
Conduct therapy sessions for patients of all ages, from children with speech delays to adults recovering from stroke or other conditions.
Educate patients, caregivers, and family members on treatment plans and exercises.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including doctors, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and other healthcare professionals.
Maintain accurate patient records and progress reports.
Stay updated with the latest advancements in speech-language therapy through continuous learning and training.
Qualification & Requirements:
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field.
Registered with the Malaysian Association of Speech-Language & Hearing (MASH).
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to connect with patients and their families.
Experience working with diverse patient groups, including pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients, is an added advantage.
