To support the overall SHE (Safety, Health & Environment) & Security management system, playing a vital role in assisting the Lead Specialist, SHE to achieve dsm-firmenich SHE objectives and ensure compliance with applicable SHE & Security standards.

Your Key Responsibilities
  1. Assist in developing, implementing, and maintaining SHE (Safety, Health & Environment) & Security policies, procedures, and programs. Develop and execute the SHE & Security plan to ensure an injury-free and incident-free workplace, preventing work-related disabilities or health issues.
  2. Conduct internal and external SHE & Security audits. Support risk assessments and safety evaluations to identify and mitigate hazards.
  3. Assist in investigating accidents, incidents, and near misses; recommend corrective actions. Represent SHE & Security on-site, coaching, guiding, training, and leading by example.
  4. Conduct safety training and orientation programs to promote safety awareness. Support the site team in implementing SHE & Security solutions and developing their capabilities.
  5. Monitor and enforce SHE & Security regulations and standards to maintain a safe working environment. Ensure the SHE & Security management system is maintained, improved, and regularly evaluated.
  6. Maintain safety records, reports, and documentation accurately. Collaborate across departments to promote a safety-first mindset.
  7. Ensure SHE & Security compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and standards. Support management and projects related to SHE & Security initiatives.

You Bring
  • Educational background: Degree or diploma in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or related fields; relevant certifications are a plus.
  • Knowledge of SHE regulations: Familiarity with local safety laws, standards, and best practices.
  • Attention to detail: Ability to identify hazards and risks.
  • Communication skills: Strong in both English and Bahasa, written and verbal.
  • Problem-solving skills: Critical thinking and analytical abilities.
  • Teamwork: Ability to collaborate effectively across functions.
