Who you are:

The People Services & Solution Specialist - People Data & Payroll delivers a range of HR services and responds to enquiries and requests from internal customers and external parties, ensuring the delivery of accurate information and quality services. You will be managing People data, Employee life cycle, Payroll, C&B administration, Continuous improvement, Workday, and Service Now. The ideal candidate requires good collaborative skills with the ability to drive change, think creatively, and meet objectives in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will embody Electrolux culture through their attitude and behaviors.

Operation Excellence

  • First point of contact for all HR-related enquiries, escalations, feedback, and complaints, ensuring they are managed professionally and diligently.

  • Manage employee life cycle tasks for assigned countries in APAC and MEA region, including onboarding, confirmation, promotion, transfer, off-boarding, and compensation & benefit administration.

  • Manage end-to-end Malaysia employee payroll processing.

  • Leverage internal resources such as knowledge base, policies, portals, and employee handbook in all inquiries and interactions.

  • Collaborate with the larger PS&S team and Line manager when dealing with complex enquiries, escalating as necessary.

  • Stay updated on system changes and support ServiceNow upgrades, participating in testing with subject matter experts.

  • Participate in Global Workday implementation, supporting testing, diagnosing errors, and guiding employees and managers through the change journey.

  • Encourage and educate employees to leverage the tier 0 Knowledge Base system.

  • Provide the best Tier 1 end-user experience to employees and managers based on business needs.

Service Delivery

  • Support PS&S Manager in centralizing countries HR core activities into People Services & Solution Organization.

  • Assist in stabilizing the new PS&S organization, Workday, and ServiceNow usage.

  • Ensure excellent customer-oriented services through adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLA) and Key Performance Indicators.

  • Partner with HRBPs, Center of Excellence, and other HR team members to deliver integrated and sustainable solutions for employees, managers, and business.

  • Collaborate with project teams on scopes within PS&S function such as workbooks preparation, error logs, user acceptance testing, data migration, process transition, and change management.

  • Contribute positively to Customer satisfaction and Employee voice surveys.

Continuous Improvement & Quality Assurance

  • Promote the PS&S continuous improvement program with a strong focus on data quality.

  • Support audit activities to ensure employee and organization data integrity and compliance.

  • Participate in global and regional initiatives on HR digitalization, process automation, integration, and change requests to improve service quality and delivery experience.

Knowledge Management

  • Support the preparation of knowledge base documents such as FAQs, standard operating procedures, global forms, and articles.

  • Ensure consistent documentation, storage, and updating of processes and operational documentation.

  • Encourage continuity of learning and knowledge sharing within the team.

  • Coach and train junior team members.

  • Integrate a knowledge management culture into PS&S.

  • Perform other ad-hoc duties assigned by the line manager.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in an HR Shared Services environment with a good understanding of employee lifecycle, HR policies, processes, payroll, and HR systems.

  • Good understanding of Malaysia’s Employment Act and local statutory regulations.

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resource management, business administration, or related field.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and fluency in both spoken and written English are essential for effective communication.

  • IT savvy and resourceful in leveraging various tools (Microsoft Office / Workday / ServiceNow).

  • Demonstrable problem-solving skills and ability to handle challenging issues in a dynamic environment.

  • Ability to multitask, set priorities, and manage time effectively.

  • Keep abreast of local laws and regulations for best PS&S practices.

  • Able to support any other assigned countries in APAC and MEA region.
