Job Summary
  • The incumbent works closely with the Sales Manager in managing sales-related matters for the Medical channel.
  • The role requires the incumbent to travel within Klang Valley and outstation.
General Responsibilities
  • Support superiors in managing day-to-day operating expenditures against budgets to ensure efficient resource usage.
  • Provide input to medical sales plans based on experience and implement action plans to achieve sales targets for assigned businesses/territories.
  • Track progress against key performance indicators and sales plans, and review daily sales activities.
  • Call or visit existing and prospective customers to solicit orders, conduct demonstrations, and provide quotations.
  • Conduct product demonstrations emphasizing saleable features and customer benefits.
  • Prepare quotations, tender prices, delivery, and commercial terms in line with company policies.
  • Report on competitors' activities and products.
  • Record sales data for reporting and tracking, and maintain customer data in CRM databases.
  • Engage in continuous improvement activities to enhance sales processes, plans, and customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain a customer complaints/issues log and follow up on customer issues.
  • Respond to customer orders and queries, and inform customers about promotions and new/upgraded products.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders for timely delivery or installation of products/systems.
  • Support relationship development with key customers.
Functional Skills and Knowledge
  • Basic knowledge of industry, market, competitors, customers, products, and selling skills.
  • Understanding of regulatory requirements for products within assigned territories, including handling procedures, shelf life, warranties, etc.
  • Willingness to travel outstation and cover multiple areas.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in office tools like Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Good command of English, both written and spoken.
Education

Degree or professional qualification in a Science- or Medical-related discipline with at least one year of experience in a similar role.
