Job summary

AIA Shared Services seeks a qualified financial professional to support group and local management reporting, ensuring timely and accurate delivery. The role involves consolidations, data analysis, and practicing Group reporting standards across a multinational environment.

You will collaborate with local units and Group Office, improve processes, and support system enhancements while maintaining high-quality financial reporting and governance.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accountancy or equivalent with professional qualification (ACCA preferred).
• 4–6 years in multinational environment with regional exposure.
• Experience in management and financial reporting and analysis.
• Experience in shared services providing reporting/analysis to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Ensure management reporting and analysis are provided to Group Office and local units timely and accurately.
• Support consolidation of Group management reports with timely analysis of results.
• Assist in developing, updating processes, controls, and manuals for reporting workflows.
• Ensure compliance with Group reporting standards for financial and management reporting.
• Respond to queries to enable informed business decisions.
• Contribute to system enhancements and training materials.

About the Role

Provide support of the Group and local management reporting including reporting and analysis. Ensure the Group and local management reporting procedures conform to the requirements as well as completed timely, accurately and effectively.

Job Description

• Responsible to ensure all required management reporting and analysis are provided to Group Office and local business units timely, accurately and in accordance with the Group's reporting procedures
• Support local business units in the management reporting process and perform timely analytical review on the management reports submitted by business units
• Support the consolidation of Group management reports on daily, monthly or quarterly basis in timely manner with analysis on Group results
• Ensure information received from the local business units complies with Group standards for both financial and management reporting
• Support Group Office and local business units on relevant management reporting and analysis matters by providing timely and satisfactory response on all queries to enable business decisions
• Support the development, design, and implementation of new processes, controls and functionally changes to existing systems to improve current processes, controls and overall effectiveness of the team
• Responsible to update Business Process Manuals, Control Checklist and Training Materials as and when new enhancement identified, implemented and communicated, and at least on an annual basis
• Performs other responsibilities and duties periodically assigned by supervisor in order to meet management reporting and/or other requirements

Job Requirements

• Degree holder in Accountancy with professional qualification in ACCA or equivalent
• Minimum 4 to 6 years of relevant work experience gained within a multinational environment with regional exposure
• Experience with management and financial reports and analysis
• Experience in a shared services or similar environment providing reporting and analysis services to external/internal stakeholders preferred
• Knowledge of systems e.g. Microsoft Azure/ Power Apps/ Power Bl/ SAP/ BPC preferred
