Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Specialist 3 to join our team in Sandisk, Batu Kawan, Penang. In this role, you will be responsible for providing expert-level support and guidance in your area of specialization, contributing to the success of key projects and initiatives within our organization.

• Lead and manage Lean Sigma/ 6s projects to improve operational efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance product/service quality.
• Apply Lean principles (such as 5S, Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen) to identify root causes of issues and implement solutions.
• Collect and analyze data to identify opportunities for improvement, track performance metrics, and report on project outcomes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and support in the execution of improvement initiatives.
• Conduct training sessions and workshops to educate staff and leadership on 6s.
• Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) to sustain 6s process improvements.
• Ensure project outcomes align with strategic business objectives and customer satisfaction goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in a relevant field.
• 5+ years of experience in a related specialist role, demonstrating progressive responsibility.

Required

• Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects and initiatives.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex information to diverse audiences.
• Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail.

Preferred

• Proficiency in relevant software tools and technologies specific to your area of specialization.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Adaptability and willingness to learn new skills and technologies as required.
• Industry-specific certifications may be preferred, depending on the area of specialization.
• Lean 6 sigma preferred.
