About the role

As a Special Needs Educator at Brain Activation Therapy and Learning Centre, you will play a crucial role in providing tailored educational support and care to students with diverse learning needs. This full-time position is based in Gelugor, Bayan Lepas or Bukit Mertajam Penang or Johor Bharu, and requires a passion for inclusive education and a commitment to empowering students to reach their full potential.

What you'll be doing

Developing and implementing individualised education plans to cater to the unique needs of each student

Utilising a range of teaching methods and assistive technologies to engage and support students with special needs

Collaborating with parents, therapists, and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to student development

Maintaining detailed records and progress reports to track student achievements and identify areas for improvement

Participating in ongoing professional development to stay informed of the latest teaching strategies and best practices in special education

What we're looking for

A degree or relevant qualification in special education, teaching, or a related field

Proven experience working with students who have diverse learning needs, such as autism, ADHD, or developmental disabilities

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with students, parents, and colleagues

Exceptional patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for making a positive difference in the lives of students with special needs

Proficient in the use of assistive technologies and teaching aids to support student learning
