Learning Bee Sdn Bhd is seeking dedicated and empathetic Special Need Teachers or Occupational Therapists to join our team in Puchong, Selangor. As a Special Need Teacher, you will play a vital role in providing tailored educational support and guidance to students with diverse learning needs, helping them reach their full potential. Location: Bandar Puteri Puchong

What you'll be doing

Designing and delivering specialised lesson plans and teaching strategies to cater to the unique needs of students with learning disabilities, physical impairments, or other special educational requirements

Collaborating with parents, caregivers, and a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualised education plans (IEPs) that address each student's goals and needs

Providing one-on-one or small group instruction to students, fostering a nurturing and supportive learning environment

Monitoring student progress, adjusting teaching methods as needed, and maintaining detailed records of student performance

Participating in professional development opportunities to stay up-to-date with the latest teaching methodologies and best practices in special education

Promoting inclusivity, empathy, and understanding within the school community

What we're looking for

A bachelor's degree in Special Education, Education, or a related field

At least 1 year of experience working with students with special educational needs, preferably in a teaching or instructional capacity

Strong knowledge of various learning disabilities, developmental disorders, and assistive technologies

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with students, parents, and the broader school community

Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for helping students with diverse learning needs reach their full potential

Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team

Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin for Mandarin subject.
